Whiteboard

Floating toolbar for line objects

You can now more easily adjust the appearance of line objects using a floating toolbar that appears next to the selected object.

Improved video previews

When searching for videos to insert, you can now preview a video directly in its thumbnail before adding it to the whiteboard.

SMART Tools & Utilities

Improved screen recording

Screen recording now includes a visual countdown, on-screen stop controls, and a completion notification showing where the file is saved.

Education essentials with SMART OneLaunch

Now available on iQ 4 for education, SMART OneLaunch is a new software solution that simplifies meetings on Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, or Webex. Join meetings directly on your interactive display with just a tap—no hubs, external computers or complex setups required.

In addition to the existing app-drawer and widget options, Education users can now add OneLaunch through the Home Screen setup experience. A 30-day trial can be started when the display is registered in Airtame Cloud; ongoing use requires a valid OneLaunch license.

SMART Mirror

Update to SMART Mirror 4.49

This release introduces enhancements to SMART Mirror such as screen share previews for moderators, improved connection stability, and multitouch gesture support for touchback. Users will also benefit from better broadcast performance, more reliable AirPlay discovery, and full keyboard navigation for improved accessibility.

NEW - SMART Control

Now available for iQ 4, this release launches SMART Control, a new cloud-based alerts integration system for SMART devices. With SMART Control, iQ customers can now connect their boards to popular mass-communication systems—including InformaCast, Centegix, Audio Enhancement, and Alertus—to enable rapid targeted visual alerts and emergency messaging across your campus.

  • Whiteboard Performance
    Fixed issues causing slow or unresponsive behavior when using the color wheel.
  • Lumio Integration
    Resolved text offset issues and freezing when starting sessions with equations.
  • Media Handling
    Images in Lumio files now display correctly after upload; ellipsis buttons no longer cause activity issues.
  • Screen Recording Audio
    Audio capture now works correctly.
  • System Stability
    Numerous fixes for touch responsiveness, HDMI compatibility, audio output, and standby wake-up.
  • AM60 OPS Appliance
    Resolved issues with navigation bar, audio in PIP app, and HDMI interoperability.
