Resolved Issues

Below is a high-level overview of the key fixes included in this release of SMART Notebook, SMART Product Drivers, and SMART Ink:

  • General stability and usability improvements in Notebook.
  • In some cases, starting SMART Notebook would open a Chromium browser window rather than Notebook itself. This issue has now been resolved.
  • For certain board models with an eraser at one end of the physical pen, using that eraser in Notebook has been fixed. This includes the 6000 series, 7000 series, and 8000 series of SMART Boards.
  • This update resolves an issue with the firmware updater in previous versions of SMART Product Drivers that was preventing calibration on some SMART Board displays on macOS.
  • Resolved multiple performance and startup issues with SMART Ink.
